The chocolates get squashed, they melt and lose part of their taste… Bad transporting can be detrimental when ordering chocolate online. That’s why we pay a lot of attention to our packaging. We developed a special packaging which protects the chocolates in the best possible way and also keeps them cool for a longer period of time. Thanks to this packaging, the quality of our chocolates is guaranteed up to 48 hours!
Buy chocolate online, even in summer
“But doesn’t the chocolate get affected by high temperatures?”, you’re probably asking. It is indeed true that most chocolatiers don’t send out their chocolates when temperatures rise above 20-25°C. However, this is not a problem for Ovidias! Our packaging is designed to keep the chocolates cool at all times, even at temperatures of 30°C. This is what our packaging looks like:
The chocolates are being dispatched in a Styrofoam box, also known as EPS or expanded polystyrene. This is a mono material consisting of one type of material, which makes it extremely suitable for recycling. It is also groundwater neutral. The cooling elements can be reused after freezing. Always handy when you’re planning a picnic or a day out in summertime!

Because we work with DPD, you have several options to have your package delivered (at home with DPD Predict or at a DPD Pickup parcel shop).
